The short answer
West Peek is a venture fund and creative agency, headquartered in New York with offices in Atlanta and Memphis. It operates as three connected properties: a community of more than 5,000 founders, operators, investors, creatives and builders; West Peek Ventures, a pre-seed fund; and West Peek Productions, a Community-as-a-Service and creative agency.
The community is not marketing for the other two. It is the thing the other two are built on.
The operating idea
Good people should meet good people.
That is the whole premise, and it is less sentimental than it sounds. Most of what determines whether an early company survives — the first hire, the first customer, the person who tells you the truth about your idea before you spend a year on it — arrives through a relationship rather than through a process. Communities are where those relationships are dense enough to be reliable rather than lucky.
So we built the community first, and then built a fund and an agency that could only work if the community were real.

Why a fund and an agency, together
Because they are the same skill pointed at two different problems. Both are bets on whether a small group of people can get the right attention from the right audience at the right moment. The fund makes that bet with capital. The agency makes it with production, story and community design.
Running both means the fund is not guessing about what it takes to build an audience from nothing, and the agency is not theorising about what early-stage companies actually need.
Where we are
Headquartered in New York City, with offices in Atlanta and Memphis. The community itself is distributed, and most of what it does happens online — which is also true of most of the more than 400 experiences the agency has produced.
What West Peek is not
West Peek is an independent venture fund and creative agency. It is not part of, affiliated with, or operated by any other portfolio, incubator or holding company, and it does not share ownership with the other businesses its founders have worked on.
